DESCRIPTION:大发快三官网 School of Art will host its annual Grad Walk on Thursday\, April 10 from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. \nThis open-studio event features a scheduled walk between School of Art MFA graduate studios. Meet the artists聽and get a peek inside their process as you visit their individual studio spaces to see in-process works as well as the School of Art鈥檚 gallery spaces. The walk will include visits to the photography\, painting and drawing\, ceramics\, digital art\, and sculpture studios聽and exhibits聽that include works by graphic design and printmaking grads.聽The walk will conclude聽in the School of Art鈥檚 sculpture garden where food and drinks will be available to enjoy amid the glow of a hundred lanterns聽made by the first-year undergraduate students聽and strung among the trees. \nThere is plenty of parking and 大发快三官网鈥檚 campus is fully accessible to visitors after 4:30 p.m. This event is free and open to all.

A buffet style service\, a potluck gathering of friends or family\, and the semi-private nature of a cup of your favorite beverage; each provides a different opportunity for the development and strengthening of relationships with each other. Each space has its own language of movement and functional ceramic pieces to facilitate and bear witness to the intimacy of our interactions with each other.聽聽

SUMMARY:Amber Baggette: Parts That Cannot Be Found MFA Thesis Exhibition
DESCRIPTION:Glassell Gallery \n\nOn View: April 12-19聽\n\n\nReception: Thursday\, April 17 6-8 p.m. / Gallery Talk 5:45 p.m.聽\n\nAmber grew up in rural southwest Louisiana\, surrounded by forest for most of her adolescence. She used the forests as a type of escapism as a child to get away from her chaotic and abusive home life. When she moved back to Louisiana for graduate school\, she saw the damage the logging industry did to her hometown without attempting to repair and replant the trees. While researching the life of trees\, she saw some connections between the nature of trees and humans. She makes intaglio and lithographs showing this irreversible damage to the environment and relates it to the irreversible damage to one鈥檚 mind after surviving child abuse.聽聽聽
